On May 7, NIO unveiled that its cutting-edge intelligent electric executive flagship SUV, the NIO ES9, is poised for an official launch and simultaneous delivery on May 27. User test drive events are scheduled to kick off on May 11. Earlier, the pre-sale pricing for this new model was disclosed, revealing a starting price of 420,000 yuan for the battery leasing option. The NIO ES9 boasts an extensive array of configurations, encompassing seven distinct body color choices and an optional 'Mystic Gold Package'. Inside, it presents four thematic interior styles. The vehicle is outfitted with 24 'Aviation Function Islands' and 137 physical buttons, complemented by six-layer dynamic ambient lighting, to craft an opulent driving ambiance. Within the cabin, three Tandem dual-layer AMOLED screens support a 100% P3 color gamut display. The interior also offers two six-seat configurations, with a longitudinal space stretching over 2.8 meters. In terms of performance, the NIO ES9 is constructed on a full-domain 900V high-voltage platform, delivering a peak power output of 520kW and achieving a 100km braking distance of a mere 35.3 meters. It is equipped with a 102kWh battery, offering a CLTC range of up to 620 kilometers. As for the chassis, the NIO ES9 incorporates a steer-by-wire system, fully active suspension, and rear-wheel steering technology, boasting a remarkably tight turning radius of just 5.4 meters.
