Recently, Tesla implemented a substantial price reduction in Canada, slashing the starting price of the Model 3 from CAD 79,990 (approximately RMB 400,000) to CAD 39,490 (approximately RMB 198,000). This marks a significant 50% drop and sets a new record low for the Canadian market. Following this price cut, the Model 3 in Canada is now RMB 37,000 cheaper than its counterpart in the Chinese market, which is priced at RMB 235,500, thereby shattering Tesla China’s previous record for the lowest global price.
