On April 15, Stellantis released a statement, forecasting that its consolidated shipments for the first quarter of 2026 would hit 1.4 million units, reflecting a 12% year-on-year increase. This growth surge is largely attributed to robust performances in the European and North American markets. Specifically, in the North American market, shipments climbed by around 54,000 units in the first quarter compared to the corresponding period in 2025, translating to a 17% year-on-year uptick. Meanwhile, the expanding European market experienced a boost of approximately 69,000 automotive shipments during the same timeframe, signifying a 12% year-on-year rise. Furthermore, the Middle East and Africa region saw its shipments grow by roughly 11,000 units in the first quarter, marking an 11% year-on-year increase. In South America, there was a growth of about 8,000 units, representing a 4% year-on-year advancement.
