On April 14, data released by Shanghai Customs revealed that in the first quarter of this year, the customs at Shanghai's Waigaoqiao Port oversaw the export of 386,000 vehicles, marking a notable 15.9% year-on-year increase, with new energy vehicles (NEVs) constituting 68.5% of the total. During the same period, Shanghai Nangang Wharf witnessed a remarkable surge in foreign trade vehicle exports, reaching 207,000 units, a staggering 111% increase compared to the previous year. Notably, 138,000 of these were NEVs, reflecting a substantial 176% year-on-year growth.
