On April 9, it was reported that the Mercedes-Benz Group announced a 6% year-on-year decline in its global sales during the first quarter, with a total of 499,700 vehicles sold. In terms of regional performance, Europe witnessed a sales uptick of 7% compared to the same period last year. Specifically, Germany saw a 9% increase, and the United States experienced a notable 20% surge. Conversely, sales in China took a hit, dropping by 27%. Despite this mixed performance, the group's sales of pure electric vehicles showed resilience, climbing by 11% to reach 50,400 units.
