On April 9, Kia Motors announced in its 2030 strategy that it plans to complete the development of its first software-defined vehicle (SDV) by the end of 2027 and delay the release of the test version by one year. Meanwhile, starting from 2029, Kia will deploy Atlas robots developed by Boston Dynamics, a subsidiary of Hyundai Motor, at its factory in Georgia, USA, to enhance production automation.
