At the Volkswagen Brand Night event, FAW-Volkswagen officially announced its new energy vehicle series, the ID.AURA. The inaugural model, the ID.AURA T6, is set to make its debut as a pure electric mid-size SUV at the Beijing Auto Show on April 24. The name "AURA" embodies four key brand commitments, while the T6 is hailed as the "New German Smart Electric Ace," boasting a five-seat configuration and a side profile reminiscent of the Talagon. The vehicle incorporates the CEA electronic and electrical architecture, co-developed by Volkswagen and XPENG, and is equipped with the "Core Intelligence" integrated solution, enabling advanced assisted driving capabilities. Additionally, Volkswagen revealed its plans to introduce several new energy models to the Chinese market between 2026 and 2029.
