Recently, key details of the cabin of Tesla's first fully autonomous two-seater model, the Cybercab, have been revealed, with the relevant footage sourced from an aerial photograph taken at the collision test center of the Giga Texas. The Cybercab eliminates the frunk, utilizing the front space for core component layout, with an oversized liquid reservoir being a key feature, supplying water to the windshield wiper and seven external camera cleaning devices. The front cabin also houses hydraulic equipment that pressurizes the cleaning devices and may integrate air conditioning components, freeing up legroom in the cabin. The component layout indicates that the Cybercab adopts front-wheel drive, contrasting with its previously differentiated wheel hub configuration featuring larger rear wheels. To compensate for the lack of front storage space, the Cybercab is equipped with a large-capacity trunk, and a built-in camera can issue reminders if passengers leave items behind. Currently, approximately 12 Cybercabs are undergoing testing at the collision test center, with eight engineering prototypes in the factory dispatch area. The Giga Texas is halting production for upgrades in preparation for mass production.
