On April 1, the Traffic Management Bureau of the Wuhan Municipal Public Security Bureau released a statement indicating that, beginning at 8:57 PM on March 31, the 122 emergency call center started receiving a flurry of reports from citizens regarding multiple 'Luobo Kuaipao' vehicles abruptly coming to a halt while in transit. The public security traffic management and transportation departments acted swiftly, arriving at the scene alongside personnel from Luobo Kuaipao to manage the situation effectively.
Initial investigations pointed to a system failure as the root cause of the incident. At present, all passengers have been safely evacuated from the vehicles, with no reports of any injuries. The precise cause behind the incident is still undergoing thorough investigation.
On the evening of March 31, several users in Hubei took to social media platforms to share their experiences of encountering malfunctions while utilizing the Luobo Kuaipao service. They reported being unable to reach customer support for assistance. Some users recounted how their vehicles suddenly stopped in the middle of the elevated section of the Third Ring Road, while others described their vehicles being immobilized in the leftmost fast lane, effectively blocking their exit.
