On March 31, Ai Chong, the Deputy Director of the Resource Comprehensive Utilization Division, operating under the aegis of the Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), underscored the significance of the National Traceability Information Platform for New Energy Vehicle Power Batteries at its launch event. He emphasized that the establishment of this information platform is pivotal in elevating the management standards of used power battery recycling and acts as a cornerstone for comprehensive full-chain management. Ai Chong urged enterprises throughout the industrial chain to fully embrace traceability management mandates and collaboratively propel the recycling of used power batteries towards a trajectory of heightened efficiency, superior quality, intelligent operations, and environmentally sustainable practices during the 15th Five-Year Plan period.
