On March 27, XPeng Motors (09868.HK) made an official announcement, stating that effective April 1, 2026, the company will undergo a rebranding of its Chinese name (used solely for identification) from 'Xiaopeng Motors Co., Ltd.' to 'Xiaopeng Group'. Notably, its English name will persist as 'XPeng Inc.', maintaining brand consistency on the global stage. Additionally, commencing at 9:00 a.m. on the same date, the Chinese abbreviation for its Class A ordinary shares listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange will also be updated from 'Xiaopeng Motors–W' to 'Xiaopeng Group–W', aligning with the corporate renaming.
