On March 26 (local time), Tesla unveiled a summary of analyst expectations, revealing that 23 investment banks have projected its electric vehicle deliveries for the entire year of 2026 to reach approximately 1.689 million units. This marks a notable reduction from the prior estimate of 1.75 million units, which was issued at the close of the previous year. In the first quarter of 2026, Tesla delivered 365,600 new vehicles, among which 351,000 were Model 3/Y units. The roster of investment banks contributing to these projections has undergone adjustments, with long-standing Tesla advocate Wedbush being excluded and five new entities, including JPMorgan Chase, being incorporated. In 2025, Tesla's global deliveries amounted to 1.6361 million units, reflecting an 8.6% year-on-year decrease and representing the largest annual decline in its history.
