General Motors Rolls Out Apple Music to More Models, Including Buick and GMC

In December last year, General Motors introduced the native Apple Music app in some Cadillac and Chevrolet models and now plans to extend this service to certain Buick and GMC models, including the 2026 Enclave, Envision, and others. Starting today, these models will automatically support the Apple Music app, which is already available in 1.2 million General Motors vehicles on the road. Through the OnStar Basics service, users can enjoy up to eight years of access to audio streaming apps. This move is seen as a temporary solution by General Motors to address CarPlay issues, following its previous announcement that it would abandon CarPlay in future electric vehicles and more models.
