At a technology-focused event hosted by Hongmeng Intelligent Driving, Huawei officially launched its Gigawhale Battery Platform 3.0. This cutting-edge platform is dedicated to the fundamental monitoring and protection of power batteries for new energy vehicles, and introduces significant technological advancements across five core areas: data security, waterproof sealing, bottom protection, temperature management and uniformity, and end-cloud collaboration. The platform incorporates a battery black box solution, enabling 24-hour, microampere-level low-power monitoring even in extreme conditions. Moreover, it features a newly designed sealing mechanism that enhances both sealing protection and resistance to bottom impacts. The integration of gradient uniform-temperature liquid cooling plate technology effectively resolves temperature control challenges during rapid charging. Additionally, Huawei has developed a BMS insulation detection technology, allowing for precise fault identification and collaborative end-cloud monitoring. Looking ahead, this suite of technologies will be rolled out across multiple models under the Hongmeng Intelligent Driving brand.
