On March 23, SmartVision unveiled the 896-line dual-light-path image-grade LiDAR versions of both the SmartVision R7 and the newly launched SmartVision S7 models. Deliveries of these cutting-edge vehicles commenced simultaneously in seven major cities across China: Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Changsha, and Hefei. Yu Chengdong, Executive Director and CEO of Huawei's Consumer Business Group, announced following the press conference that the first batch of SmartVision cars equipped with the 896-line LiDAR technology has been successfully delivered nationwide. Presently, display cars featuring the 896-line dual-light-path image-grade LiDAR for both SmartVision models have arrived at dealerships across the country. The official suggested retail price for the SmartVision R7 starts at RMB 259,800, whereas the new SmartVision S7 is priced from RMB 239,800.
