On March 20, China unveiled its inaugural national-level test base for 'Road-Air Integration' in Xinfeng County, Shaoguan, Guangdong Province, marking a significant milestone in the nation’s transportation innovation landscape. This cutting-edge facility seamlessly blends terrestrial and aerial testing capabilities. The ground-based component spans an expansive 8,600-acre area, dedicated to conducting comprehensive full-process tests for intelligent connected vehicles (ICVs). Meanwhile, the aerial segment designates a sprawling 100-square-kilometer airspace, specifically tailored for evaluating low-altitude equipment, including the highly anticipated flying cars. As of now, this facility stands as China’s largest and most advanced integrated testing base for 'Road-Air Integration' technologies.
