Recently, market rumors have been circulating that SAIC-Audi is set to be merged into FAW-Audi. In response to these speculations, Gernot Döllner, Audi's Global CEO, clarified that Audi will remain committed to its current dual-partner strategy. He emphasized that the existing cooperation model proves advantageous for Audi. The primary focus of Audi's collaboration with SAIC is to propel the development of Audi models bearing letter logos, with the intention of launching the E5 Sportback model in the latter half of 2025. This year will witness the introduction of the E7X, followed by another new model in the upcoming year. On the other hand, Audi's cooperation with FAW centers on the product range of Audi models featuring the four-ring logo. There are plans to introduce pure electric products built on the PPE platform and expand the lineup of fuel-powered vehicles (Note: The term 'fuel-powered vehicle' is retained for contextual accuracy) through the PPC platform. Looking ahead, Audi aims to tailor features specifically for the Chinese market. The four-ring Audi brand has already forged a partnership with Huawei and intends to sustain an open and collaborative approach with innovative Chinese enterprises.
