The Hangzhou 315 Defective Vehicle Exhibition has been successfully organized for fourteen consecutive years. In previous editions, there have been numerous occasions where representatives from various car brands have obstructed vehicle owners at the exhibition's entrance, attempting to thwart their efforts to seek redress. In some extreme cases, personnel from these car companies have employed underhanded tactics, including pretending to be injured, destroying relevant documents, and even drafting vehicle return agreements on the spot. These incidents have gained notoriety and become synonymous with the darker side of the exhibition. Considering that vehicle owners operate their cars on public roads and in public spaces, the brands' attempts to bar them from entering the exhibition grounds raise suspicions of illegality.
