HONGMENG Intelligent Travel has just shared a winter test video of its inaugural MPV model, the Luxeed V9, and for the first time, it reveals the vehicle's rear-wheel steering capability. Built on Huawei's cutting-edge Tuling platform, the Luxeed V9 is designed to excel in icy and snowy conditions. It comes equipped with a dual-chamber air suspension system that can be elevated by 50mm and features a ±7° rear-wheel active steering mechanism, resulting in an impressively tight turning radius of only 5.35 meters. This ensures that the vehicle maintains exceptional stability and grip, even on slippery, low-traction surfaces.
The Tuling platform is at the heart of the Luxeed V9's performance, facilitating seamless integration between its hardware and software components. In terms of dimensions, the Luxeed V9 is quite spacious, measuring 5,359mm in length, 2,009mm in width, and 1,879mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,250mm. It stands out in its class with a superior number of airbags and an ultra-robust body structure, providing enhanced safety and durability.
The vehicle is outfitted with Huawei's latest assisted driving hardware from the Qiankun Intelligent Driving system and is powered by Huawei's Xuexiao intelligent range extender technology. This combination enables the Luxeed V9 to achieve a CLTC combined driving range of over 1,250km, making it ideal for long-distance travel. Inside the cabin, premium materials abound, with the second row featuring 123° dual zero-gravity seats that offer multi-directional rotation and synchronized adjustments for maximum comfort. Additionally, the Luxeed V9 introduces a wrap-around airbag for the first time and includes luxurious amenities such as a welcome light carpet and an in-car oxygen bar, elevating the overall driving experience.
