Geely’s G-ASD Secures EU’s UN R171 Certification, Marking China’s First Advanced Intelligent Driving System to Enter Global Markets

On March 12, the intelligent assisted driving system, Qianli Haohan G-ASD, developed under Geely Auto Group, was granted the UN R171 international certification by the European Union. The certification was issued jointly by the China Automotive Technology & Research Center (CATARC) and IDIADA. With this achievement, the system has become China’s first advanced assisted driving system to successfully make its way onto the global stage. It is anticipated to officially launch on European roads in June this year, providing a technological edge to brands such as Geely, Zeekr, Lynk & Co, and Lotus in the future.
