According to data released on March 13 by consulting firm Benchmark Mineral Intelligence (BMI), global registrations of battery electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles experienced an 11% year-on-year decline in February, with the total sales volume just exceeding 1 million units. This marks the lowest level for the same period since 2024. Notably, China, the world's largest market for electric vehicles, witnessed a significant 32% year-on-year decrease in registrations during February, with the number dropping to below 500,000 units.
