On March 13, 2026, WeRide unveiled an enhanced collaboration with Tencent Cloud, formally incorporating its Robotaxi service into the 'Tencent Transportation Services' mini-program. For residents of Guangzhou, this means they can now effortlessly book and settle payments for their rides directly via WeChat, with the service set to progressively roll out to additional cities. Moreover, the Robotaxi service is slated to become accessible on Tencent Maps in the foreseeable future.
