On March 12, data released by the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance revealed that, in terms of production, China's overall output of power and energy storage batteries stood at 141.6 GWh in February. This marked a month-on-month decrease of 15.7% but a significant year-on-year increase of 41.3%. From January to February, the cumulative production reached 309.7 GWh, representing a robust year-on-year growth of 48.8%.
Regarding sales, China's sales volume of power and energy storage batteries amounted to 113.2 GWh in February, showing a month-on-month decline of 23.9% yet a year-on-year rise of 25.7%. The cumulative sales from January to February totaled 262.0 GWh, up by 53.8% compared to the same period last year.
