Baidu's autonomous driving ride-hailing service platform, Luobo Kuaipao, is poised to lead the way by being among the first to incorporate thousand-line LiDAR technology. RoboSense has secured an exclusive front-mounting fixed-point designation for this purpose and will supply Luobo Kuaipao's new generation of front-mounted, mass-produced Robotaxi models with a digital LiDAR combination consisting of the 'thousand-line EM4' paired with the 'all-solid-state blind-spot filling E1'.
According to industry analysts, the LiDAR sector is primarily evolving towards 'high-line-count + digitalization', with market demand for LiDAR now firmly in the 'thousand-line' era. The synergy of a 'high-line-count main LiDAR' with an 'all-solid-state blind-spot filling' solution is expected to emerge as a standard requirement for autonomous driving models, particularly those at L3/L4 levels.
