On March 11, figures released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers revealed that China exported 672,000 vehicles in February 2026, marking a year-on-year surge of 52.4%. The cumulative exports from January to February soared to 1.352 million units, representing a 48.4% increase compared to the same period last year. Notably, new energy vehicles have emerged as the linchpin of export growth, with 282,000 units exported in February alone, a staggering 1.1-fold increase year-on-year. From January to February, cumulative exports of new energy vehicles reached 583,000 units, surpassing a year-on-year growth rate of over 110%.
