A netizen recently shared a screenshot revealing that Xiaomi Auto has officially launched its ‘Official Auto Insurance’ in partnership with BNP Paribas Cardif Tianxing Insurance. This insurance plan stands out for its competitive pricing compared to other insurers and offers a more comprehensive suite of services. These services include eight instances of roadside assistance, one vehicle inspection service, and one vehicle safety inspection. However, it’s worth noting that, for now, this insurance plan is only available for policy renewals in Beijing.

On November 5, 2024, the National Financial Regulatory Administration gave the green light to the establishment of BNP Paribas Cardif Tianxing Insurance. The company boasts an impressive lineup of shareholders, including BNP Paribas Cardif, Sichuan Yinmi Technology Co., Ltd., and Volkswagen Financial Services AG Overseas. Among these, Sichuan Yinmi Technology holds a special place within the Xiaomi ecosystem. Originally known as Chengdu Langu Commerce and Trade Co., Ltd., the company underwent a transformation after being acquired by Xiaomi Technology in 2015. It was subsequently renamed and became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Xiaomi Electronics in 2018.
