On March 9, WeRide inked a strategic cooperation agreement with Geely Remote New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group. The two parties jointly unveiled the newly upgraded pre-installed, mass-produced Robotaxi model, the GXR. Additionally, they announced their ambitious plan to deliver approximately 2,000 units by 2026. These vehicles are set to be deployed in both domestic and international markets, marking a significant stride towards the global large-scale commercial operation of Robotaxi services.
