In a collaborative effort, the China Automobile Dealers Association and Jingzhen Gu have unveiled the retention rate data for pure electric vehicle models for the month of February. This data serves as a valuable reference point for the burgeoning new energy vehicle market. Among the one-year-old pure electric vehicle models featured in the list, the AITO M9 emerged as the frontrunner, boasting an impressive retention rate of 82.1%. Trailing closely behind are the Zeekr 009 and Li Auto MEGA, which secured the second and third positions, respectively. Notably, the Tesla Model Y and Model 3 also managed to break into the top five, showcasing their enduring popularity. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi SU7 claimed the seventh spot on the list. Other models that made the cut include the Geely Starry Wish, Avatr 12, and Le Tao L60, all of which boast overall retention rates surpassing 70%. This achievement effectively shatters the long-held notion that 'electric vehicles depreciate by half immediately after purchase.'
