This significant accomplishment stands as a testament to NIO's relentless pursuit of excellence in electric drive manufacturing, marking a fresh chapter in its journey. The electric drive unit in question is the rear electric drive system installed in the brand-new ES8 model. As a pivotal component of NIO's core technological arsenal, the electric drive system is the result of independent research, development, and production. It has been honored as one of the "World's Top Ten Electric Drive Systems" for four consecutive years, and its 900V high-performance intelligent flagship electric drive has also earned the prestigious "China Heart" Annual Top Ten accolade. In February, NIO delivered 20,797 new vehicles, achieving a year-on-year growth of 57.6%, with the cumulative deliveries surpassing 1.04 million units.
