On March 5, news emerged that WeRide-W (00800.HK) had declared the forthcoming resumption of its Robotaxi service operations in Dubai this week. Earlier, in response to the geopolitical situation in Iran, WeRide had temporarily halted its Robotaxi fleet operations in Dubai, UAE, starting from March 1. Moreover, in partnership with the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), WeRide is poised to officially inaugurate fully autonomous commercial Robotaxi services in Dubai this month. This initiative aligns with Dubai’s ambitious vision of achieving 25% autonomous driving-powered transportation by 2030.
