On March 6 at 3:00 PM, Xpeng Motors made an official announcement regarding the upcoming launch of the Xpeng G6 Super Extended-Range model. This vehicle is strategically positioned as an intelligent coupe SUV with extended-range capabilities, primarily catering to the family user segment. In terms of performance, the Xpeng G6 Super Extended-Range model is outfitted with an advanced 800V+5C high-voltage platform, delivering a remarkable CLTC combined range of 1,704 kilometers. It offers a pure electric range of 430 kilometers and the capability to charge up to 314 kilometers (from SOC 10% to 80%) in a mere 12 minutes. When it comes to intelligent features, the vehicle is equipped with an intelligent driving platform that boasts a computing power of up to 2,250 TOPS, with plans for a subsequent upgrade to the second-generation VLA model. In terms of interior space, it provides an occupancy rate of 85.6% and headroom exceeding one meter. For safety, it includes features such as tire blowout stability control, AEB (Autonomous Emergency Braking), AES (Autonomous Emergency Steering), and is fitted with the Taichi AI chassis and standard DCC (Dynamic Chassis Control). Previously, the all-electric version of the 2026 Xpeng G6 was launched on January 8, and the introduction of this Super Extended-Range model will further diversify and enrich Xpeng Motors' product lineup.
