Yangwang Motor has revealed that the 2026 Yangwang U7 will be the inaugural model to incorporate the second-generation Blade Battery. This advanced battery boasts a capacity of 150.01 kWh and enables a maximum pure electric driving range of up to 1,006 km (tested under CLTC conditions). The car will maintain its availability in both pure electric and plug-in hybrid variants. The plug-in hybrid version will come equipped with a 52.3987 kWh battery pack, offering pure electric ranges of 200 km and 220 km, respectively. For context, the previous iteration of the Yangwang U7 pure electric model had a CLTC range of 720 km, whereas the plug-in hybrid variant provided a pure electric range of 200 km and an overall range surpassing 1,000 km. Notably, all versions came standard with technologies such as the Easy-Four All-Wheel Drive system. Moreover, during the launch event scheduled for March 5, the 2026 Yangwang U8 and the brand-new Yangwang U8L will make their joint debut. The new U8 is anticipated to integrate relevant technologies, while the U8L will place a particular emphasis on enhancing interior space.
