On March 2, Changan Automobile released an announcement revealing that in February 2026, its production volume stood at 104,300 vehicles, marking a year-on-year decrease of 34.19%. Meanwhile, the sales volume reached 151,900 vehicles, experiencing a year-on-year decline of 5.89%, which included 64,876 vehicles sold overseas. The production volume of its self-owned brands was 79,756 vehicles, down by 41.41% year-on-year, while the sales volume was 124,500 vehicles, a decrease of 9.03% compared to the same period last year. For new energy vehicles, the production volume was 23,983 vehicles, showing a year-on-year drop of 45.95%, whereas the sales volume was 42,195 vehicles, recording a year-on-year increase of 6.42%. Cumulatively, for the first two months of the year, the production volume amounted to 268,900 vehicles, and the sales volume totaled 286,600 vehicles.
