At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 held in Barcelona, Spain, Li Tianyuan, the General Manager of Automotive Industrial Design at Xiaomi, took the stage on behalf of the Xiaomi Group to unveil the Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo (commonly referred to as Xiaomi Vision GT). This sleek and futuristic vehicle is a pure electric concept supercar, designed to push the boundaries of automotive innovation.
In response to widespread speculation and inquiries from netizens regarding whether the Vision Gran Turismo would ever see the light of day in terms of mass production, Xiaomi Technology swiftly clarified its stance. The company firmly stated that the VGT project is primarily intended as a platform to exhibit Xiaomi's avant-garde design philosophy and its relentless pursuit of technological advancements in the realm of supercars. Emphasizing its strategic importance, Xiaomi highlighted that the project's value lies more in its conceptual and exploratory nature rather than in the actual production of the vehicle. Consequently, Xiaomi has no plans to proceed with mass production of the Vision Gran Turismo.
