On March 2nd, XPENG hosted the unveiling ceremony for its cutting-edge second-generation Vehicle-Land-Air (VLA) intelligent driving system. During the event, He Xiaopeng, the Chairman of XPENG Motors, revealed that Volkswagen has secured the distinction of being the inaugural customer for this advanced system. He further elaborated that the second-generation VLA is poised to embark on global road testing in the near future, with worldwide deliveries earmarked for 2027. Moreover, he predicted that the advent of fully autonomous driving would materialize within the next 1 to 3 years.
