Following reports of Lynk & Co vehicles experiencing "headlights being turned off due to voice command errors," owners of other car brands have begun to conduct their own tests. Similar problems were identified in Zeekr vehicles, where a simple utterance of "turn off all lights" could inadvertently activate the command. Tesla's infotainment system, on the other hand, prompts users to deactivate the headlights only after the vehicle has been parked. Similarly, Xiaomi vehicles necessitate shifting to the Park (P) gear before executing voice commands. Xpeng and Seres vehicles demand specific voice commands for operation. Xpeng's customer service clarified that deactivating the low beams in dim lighting conditions necessitates manual intervention, and voice commands might still lead to unintended shutdowns. Zeekr's customer service highlighted that voice commands to turn off the lights are not supported during regular driving and can only be carried out with explicit instructions when the vehicle is in Park (P) gear. Seres' customer service mentioned that specific operations are contingent upon the actual driving conditions.
