A series of European road test photos have unveiled the prototype of Ferrari’s inaugural electric vehicle, the Luce. Visually, the car showcases distinctive suicide doors, strategically placed low-set headlights, and does away with the conventional upper front grille. The test model sports a false panel on its roof, cleverly disguising its fastback silhouette. The interior design benefits from the insights of former Apple Chief Designer Jony Ive, boasting a rotatable infotainment display while preserving a generous array of physical dials and buttons for a tactile driving experience. Under the hood, the Luce is powered by a 122 kWh liquid-cooled battery pack, operating on an 880-volt system voltage, and delivers over 1000 horsepower. It sprints from 0-60 mph in a mere 2.5 seconds, attains a top speed of roughly 322 km/h, and offers a driving range exceeding 529 kilometers. Ferrari has scheduled the reveal of the production-ready model for May 2026 in Italy.
