On Wednesday, Tesla unveiled fresh safety statistics for its Fully Self-Driving (FSD) system on its official website. The data revealed that the system has amassed a total driving distance exceeding 8.2 billion miles, with over 3 billion miles being navigated in urban settings. Tesla emphasized that the FSD system has significantly enhanced safety, slashing the rates of both major and minor collision accidents to just one-seventh of their previous levels, and reducing non-highway collision accident rates to one-fifth of their original figures.
