On February 19th, data released by the National Energy Administration revealed that from midnight on the 28th day of the twelfth lunar month (February 15th) until 24:00 on the first day of the first lunar month (February 17th), the national charging facility monitoring service platform kept a close watch on 53,300 expressway charging stations. Statistics indicate that over the first three days of the Spring Festival holiday, new energy vehicles underwent 1,409,900 charging sessions on expressways, with an average daily charging volume reaching 11,800,800 kilowatt-hours. This marked a significant year-on-year increase of 63.05%. The charging infrastructure along expressways operated without a hitch, effectively catering to the public's charging requirements for new energy vehicles during family visits, travel, and the journey back home. As the peak return travel phase of the Spring Festival holiday draws near, the National Energy Administration will work in tandem with pertinent departments to bolster scheduling and monitoring efforts, ensuring that the charging demands for new energy vehicle travel are continuously fulfilled.
