On February 18, Tesla revealed that the first Cybercab—a futuristic, fully autonomous electric vehicle—had officially rolled off the production line at its Giga Texas facility. This announcement followed an earlier disclosure on February 9, when Tesla confirmed that mass production and operational deployment of this model would commence at the factory. The Cybercab is designed as a compact, two-seat, all-electric autonomous vehicle tailored specifically for shared mobility services. Notably, it lacks traditional controls such as a steering wheel or pedals, relying entirely on Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) system for operation. Tesla aims to begin full-scale production in April, targeting an annual production capacity of around 2 million units.
