On February 18th, foreign media outlets reported that the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) in the United States confirmed that Tesla Inc. had implemented compliance measures concerning the marketing of its vehicle's autonomous driving capabilities. As a result, the company will not be subjected to a 30-day sales ban within the state. The DMV made the announcement on Tuesday, stating that Tesla had undertaken "corrective actions" to prevent a suspension of sales. Back in December of the previous year, an administrative judge had deliberated on accusations made by state regulatory bodies. These allegations claimed that Tesla had overstated the capabilities of its Autopilot and Full Self-Driving features in its marketing efforts. Following this ruling, Tesla was granted a 90-day period to ensure compliance with the relevant regulations.
