On February 12, information released by the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) indicated that the export volume of new energy passenger vehicles soared to 286,000 units in January, marking a substantial year-on-year increase of 103.6%. These exports constituted 49.6% of the total passenger vehicle exports, reflecting a notable year-on-year rise of 12.5 percentage points. Within this category, battery electric vehicles (BEVs) dominated the new energy export landscape, accounting for 65% of the total, albeit experiencing a slight 2 percentage point decrease compared to the same period the previous year. Furthermore, A00+A0-class BEVs, which are the focal point of market attention, represented 50% of BEV exports, showing a significant year-on-year increase of 9 percentage points.
