Tao Lin, Vice President of Tesla, has announced that the company is set to actively engage in projects concerning assisted autonomous driving within the Chinese market. However, at present, a concrete timeline for the rollout cannot be confirmed. Earlier, Elon Musk mentioned that Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD) technology would be introduced in Europe by February 2026, with the Chinese market slated to adopt it subsequently. Currently, Tesla is in the process of conducting on-the-ground FSD testing across several European nations and has shared videos showcasing autonomous driving capabilities under challenging road conditions. Nevertheless, the approval for this technology remains pending.
