On February 4th, Foxconn's New Energy Vehicle Research and Development (R&D) Center officially kicked off its operations in the Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone, Henan Province. Backed by a substantial total investment of 1 billion yuan, the center is financed by Foxconn New Energy Vehicle Industry Development (Henan) Co., Ltd.
Construction of the center got underway in July 2024, and it is strategically situated in the Auto City within the Zhengzhou Airport Area. Designed to serve as a global intelligent benchmark factory and an innovation powerhouse, the center is primarily dedicated to R&D endeavors. These include formulating new energy vehicle product plans, developing platforms, and manufacturing complete vehicles.
