On February 4 (local time), the German Federal Motor Transport Authority released data indicating that BYD sold a remarkable 2,629 new vehicles in Germany during January. This marks an astonishing year-on-year increase of 1018.7%. Such a figure not only vastly outstrips the 235 units sold in the corresponding period last year but also more than doubles the 1,301 registrations achieved by Tesla during the same timeframe.
