On February 5, 2026, insiders revealed that Stellantis is experiencing delays in delivering some of its electric vehicle models due to manufacturing difficulties at battery supplier Automotive Cells Co. (ACC). Pure electric versions of the Peugeot 3008 and 5008, among others, have seen their delivery times pushed back by up to eight months due to technical faults in the long-range batteries produced by ACC. Currently, ACC's monthly battery supply volume is significantly below initial targets, and the company is considering cost-cutting measures in France to mitigate financial impacts.
