On February 4, the latest data released by the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) revealed that, in December 2025, manufacturers whose wholesale sales of new energy vehicles surpassed 10,000 units contributed to 93% of the total nationwide wholesale sales of new energy passenger cars for that month. Preliminary aggregated data for January indicates that these manufacturers sold 830,000 units in January. Currently, the sales figures for the majority of manufacturers have been mostly confirmed. Based on this, and taking into account the structural proportion from the previous month, it is estimated that the nationwide wholesale sales of new energy passenger cars in January will reach around 900,000 units, representing a 1% increase compared to the same period last year.
