Amidst the prevailing downward pressure in the auto market, and with the aim of stimulating consumption during the pre-Spring Festival shopping frenzy and stabilizing automobile sales, a flurry of consumption-boosting policies has been enacted from the central to local governments. Based on the incomplete statistics gathered by a reporter from Cailian Press, to date, over twenty provinces, municipalities directly under the central government, and autonomous regions nationwide have unveiled specific guidelines for initiatives such as trade-ins, scrappage and replacement programs, and vehicle purchase subsidies. These policies encompass a wide range of areas, including major economic hubs and regions such as Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Zhejiang, Guizhou, Heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia, as well as key cities like Shenzhen, Xi'an, Wuhan, and beyond.
