On January 28, Pony.ai and ATBO entered into a business partnership aimed at jointly creating a fleet dedicated to fully autonomous driving travel services. Leveraging Pony.ai's seventh-generation Robotaxi model, the two entities are committed to addressing travel needs, including urban commutes and round-trip journeys between airports and high-speed railway stations. Presently, the inaugural batch of their collaborative autonomous driving fleet has secured multi-stage licensing approval for L4-level fully autonomous driving capabilities. This approval empowers them to offer taxi services to the general public in first-tier cities.
