Honda Motor, in collaboration with GAC Group, operates three factories in China. These facilities had initially ceased production owing to a shortage of semiconductors. Originally, the plan was to resume operations on January 5th. However, this restart was delayed until January 19th. As of last Monday, production has been gradually picking up again. To expedite this process, Honda implemented strategies such as sourcing alternative semiconductor products, thereby facilitating the resumption of manufacturing activities.
